Since it appears only when formatting marks are enabled, this dotted line can
be considered one of the formatting marks.

When formatting marks are shown while editing a document, various marks such as
paragraph breaks, line breaks, and spaces become visible. However, these
formatting marks are not shown in Print Preview. Print Preview is intended to
display only what will actually be printed, so that the output can be checked
before printing.

In contrast, this dotted line is still displayed in Print Preview. Even if we
accept that it is shown during editing (i.e. keeping the current behaviour
there), it would be more appropriate for Print Preview to display the
user-defined formatting instead.
