Bug ID: 169712
Summary: Double cursor in Calc when editing a cell
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 25.8.3.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
When EDITING a cell, I have a "double cursor" - one (the real one) at the
position which will actually be changed when I enter sth., and another one 1 or
2 positions left to this.
When moving in the cell, the cursor and this one-left-shadow move together,
with 1 or 2 positions between them.
When I move the real cursor to the very beginning of the cell to the left, the
"shadow cursor" is shown left outside the real cell.
THis is NOT seen when in save mode (user profile reset), but back when in
regular mode again.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start Calc in normal mode
2.Calculate something
3.Start EDITING one of these cells where values are entered (F2) ==> it shows
(with me) this shadow cursor.
Actual Results:
When editing a cell I see a shadow curser, which is confusing
Expected Results:
See / show only the actual cursor position in a cell
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
