Thanks for the report. This is the default behavior of LibreOffice, designed to
make it easier to edit the text of a hyperlink without accidentally opening the
browser. 

While hovering your mouse over the link, you'll notice the tooltip that says
"Ctrl-click to open hyperlink." (Command-click for macOS)

If you would prefer to open links with a single click, you can change this
setting:

1. Click LibreOffice in the menu bar next to the Apple logo and select
Settings/Preferences.
2. In the left pane, select LibreOffice > Security
3. Click on the Options button on the right
4. Uncheck the box that says "Ctrl-click required to follow hyperlinks."
