            Bug ID: 169405
Summary: Searching in Base Form is not available
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.8.1.1 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: Base
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

I use LibreOffice Base as a front-end of a MySQL database but it looks true for
any LO Base file.
When you use a form, searching in this form is not available :
* either by Ctrl+f
* or Edit menu and searching… (I'm french, so I am not sure about the word used
in english)
Nothing is displayed.

BUT, if you use the menu Edit -> Searching and Replace (same limit), it works !
The usual dialog box appears and you can look for a string !

So the function, the underground mechanism, exists but looks unavailable. Maybe
not so difficult to fix
All that with Ubuntu 25.10 (it was the same with the previous versions).
Thanks.
