Just in case at any time anyone will work on this ...

There is another unusual and annoying cursor stuck issue,
or a variant of this?

Having one row ended with "soft newline?" ( a <shift-enter> ),
and having the cursor in a longer line below:
- in a position farther right than the end of above line:
cursor is stuck against cursor-up arrow key,
- from the position below the soft-newline:
up-arrow key moves the cursor to the start of line, then stuck there,
- from a position below text in row above:
cursor follows up-arrow key, normal behavior.

Each and any other editor program known to me remembers the horizontal
position of the cursor, moves to the end of the shorter line above,
and on further up-moves back to the stored horizontal position.

Even LO Writer does, if the shorter line ends in a paragraph break.
Looks as if it can be done, however isn't to throw some irritations on
users?

Also wrong: cursor down from a longer line above, likes to skip one or two
lines, jumping two to three down to erratic horizontal positions.
