When do Save as, Save copy, Export, Export Pdf, right click on an image and save that, i.e. everything that creates a new file based on what you are working on should use the document's own working directory. And this should work the same regardless Native or LO dialogs. And regardless the app (Writer, Calc, Impress ...). Isn't that the essence of a UI, to have a consistent behavior? Right now, when I click on the "Direct to PDF icon" I need to do a File Serach to find where it went.
