Illustration of bug

In a Calc file I have a Default style whose Number format is set to -1234.57
(format code 0.00). When I apply that default style to a number, the number of
decimal places in the style is ignored. Calc displays the numbers as I type
them. See attached.

The expected behavior is that if the Default style specifies two decimal
places, and I apply that style to a number, the number appears with two decimal
places.
