Hello LibreOffice team
I’m writing to report an issue I’ve been facing when trying to download the
latest version of LibreOffice for macOS Apple Silicon Each time I attempt to
download from your official site Safari displays the following error message
Safari can’t open the page because the network connection was lost
I have a stable internet connection and have tried multiple times including
restarting Safari and my Mac The same issue occurs consistently making it
impossible to complete the download
Could you please check if there’s a problem with the server or the specific
mirror handling macOS Silicon downloads I’m located in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia in
case it’s region related

3Steps to reproduce 1. Go to the official LibreOffice download page on a Mac
with Apple Silicon 2. Choose the macOS (Apple Silicon) version and click the
download button 3. Wait for Safari to begin downloading 4. The browser stops
and displays the message “Safari can’t open the page because the network
connection was lost” 5. Retry the download — the same error occurs consistently
despite a stable internet connection.
Actual Results:
The browser stops and displays the message “Safari can’t open the page because
the network connection was lost”
Expected Results:
The LibreOffice installer for macOS Apple Silicon should download completely
without interruption or network errors.

User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
Tested on a MacBook Pro 2024 with M4 chip running macOS 15 Sequoia. Internet
connection is stable and verified with other large downloads working normally.
The issue occurs across multiple attempts and after restarting Safari and the
system. Location Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, suggesting a possible mirror server
issue. Several of my Mac VoiceOver user friends with Apple Silicon Macs are
also experiencing the exact same download problem.
