[email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Severity|trivial |minor --- Comment #39 from [email protected] --- I increased the priority because "double clicking and dragging" is a standard functionality in most* software and desktop operating systems. It is a behaviour that users simply expect, and that seems like a defect when it is missing. I actually see this issue as more important than "minor" because it is part of a bigger issue that affects LO in general: Writer does behave as the average user expects from most Windows/Linux/Apple software and legacy LO, but LO components other than Writer, and even text boxes within Writer, behave in an unexpected way. Two recent bug reports were closed as duplicates, which shows that people notice. It can be argued that inconsistencies and defects in the UI and standard functionality potentially drive away many (new) users of LO. After all, working with text is one of the main purposes of an office suit. Seeing that this bug has no assignees after 12 years is baffling. (* LO is the only software I encountered that breaks with the "double clicking and dragging" convention) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
