            Bug ID: 169021
Summary: When in dark mode, libre office writer does not change
                    text color.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.8.2.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I do dark mode through the normal tools-appearance method, and on my last
computer (Windows 10) and possibly also last version (I may have updated when
switching laptops, my version is now current as of October 2025), when I did
this the text would turn white to compensate, but also remain black on white
background if I sent it elsewhere.

Currently the text instead remains black on black background, and predictably
if I change it to a lighter color manually for visability, it becomes light
text on light background on the other end. Dark mode being much better for my
eyes than light mode, I still use it in my day to day, so just using light mode
isn't an option.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Tools
2. options
3.appearance
4. Themes - automatic
5. appearance - system or dark, reproduceable either way.
6. Customizations - background, dark gray

Actual Results:
text remained black while background changed

Expected Results:
Made text look white (without changing the actual text color) to be more
visible in dark mode.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
The method I followed is the method to obtain dark mode in LibreOffice
