            Bug ID: 168697
Summary: "Emphasis" Character Style Cannot be Resized
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.8.1.1 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
It is impossible to re-size the "Emphasis" character style, presumably because
it is default-linked to the Default character style. For example, my Default
character style is 11 pt Libre Baskerville. When I apply the Emphasis character
style to a word or words, I want those words to be 12 PT; however, when I
change the Emphasis Character Style to 12 PT and apply the change, the words to
which I apply the Emphasis character style remain at 11 point.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.In Styles, change the Character Style "Emphasis" to 12 PT instead of 11 PT.
2. Apply the changed Emphasis style (12 PT to word or words whose Default style
is 11 PT.
3. The words to which the 12-PT Emphasis character style was applied, remain 11
PT instead of the expected 12-PT.

Actual Results:
The words to which the 12-PT Emphasis character style was applied, remain 11 PT
instead of the expected 12-PT.

Expected Results:
After changing the Emphasis character style to a new font size, I expect the
new font size to change the Font size of the words to which I applied the
Emphasis character style.

Reproducible: Always
