            Bug ID: 168531
Summary: Document recovery after crash dialog shown when there
was no apparent crash of loss of changes
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.8.1.1 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Starting with 25.8.1.1 or maybe a release prior to that LibreOffice apps often
report that there was a crash and suggest to recover documents on startup,
although there was no visible crash or loss of data in the documents.

It happens every few days when i try to open a document (which i maybe was
editing an hour ago, saved and closed) it will show a recovery dialog. Usually
i would cancel it (not try to recover) and when i check i see all the recent
changes in place. As i usually save changes before i close the app, then maybe
this explains why i don't lose changes, if it is actually crashing on exit. But
then this dialog is misleading.

I don't notice any visible crashing when closing the app (Writer, Calc). And it
is unpredictable when i would get such dialog. Is it still possible to catch
such "crash" in the logs after the fact if it happened yesterday or so?
