Bug ID: 168840
Summary: Win7x64 to Brother HL-1430 Series printing bug with
manual duplexing
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.3.3.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
I tried to print an odt document with about half a dozen pages, just text,
nothing complex, but firstly, it raised several of the Brother printer windows
at the same time when starting the job -- this window shows you an image of the
printer, reminding you to check paper in the source tray, and waits for you to
click a button to begin printing the odd or even pages for manual duplexing --
and then, it failed to print all the required pages, then brought up the next
window in which it visually indicates how to reorient the pages to get the
correct second side printed with the paper placed back in the source try in the
correct orientation, but it sometimes also brought up another copy of the first
window, and either way, didn't correctly match the backing pages to the front
pages in the duplexing ... I had to export it to PDF to get it to work
correctly ... so something definitely buggy here ... but my printer is damn
near impossible to get to work on Win10, so I have this old Win7 machine purely
as a print server.
