Regina Henschel <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ever confirmed|0 |1 Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #1 from Regina Henschel <[email protected]> --- In general, Writer uses a totally different engine for equations than Calc. So it needs its own help texts. The current text in https://help.libreoffice.org/master/en-US/text/swriter/02/14020000.html?&DbPAR=WRITER&System=WIN is `Counts the number of non empty cells.` with example `Example: COUNT <A2:C2> displays the number of non empty cells in A2 to C2` In my tests I observe, that cells with numbers or formulas are counted, empty cells and cells with text are ignored. I have tested it with Version: 26.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: b1c0c4838d2e006ffa8e72516569ce8d13bdbe01 CPU threads: 32; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26100); UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-US Calc: threaded I agree, that the help text should be changed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
