            Bug ID: 168210
Summary: Chart axis formatting not preserved when saving
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.2.5.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Using Libre Office Calc I set the x-axis to show a list of dates. Then format
the Scale of an Axis on the Chart/ Graph to Type "Text". Then save the file as
an xlsx file. When that file is re-opened the formatting is lost and reverts
back to Scale>Type>Automatic

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a Chart with dates on the x-axis
2. Format the x-axis scale to type text so that it just shows the dates as type
in the spreadsheet.
3. Save the file. Then re-open the file and the scale format of the axis
reverts back to Automatic.

Actual Results:
Re-open the saved file and the scale format of the axis reverts back to
Automatic.

Expected Results:
The formatting of the x-axis Scale should remain as type text.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Version: 25.2.5.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 03d19516eb2e1dd5d4ccd751a0d6f35f35e08022
CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (10.0 build 26100); UI render:
Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-GB
Calc: threaded

I un-installed Libre Office and installed a previous version but this did not
help.

When using the latest version of Libre Office (25.8.1) the X-Axis dates
disappear completely when opening the previously save file.
