b. <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |NOTABUG --- Comment #4 from b. <[email protected]> --- Think ... just assume, not digged down in code: Entering a formula in a sheet simply keeps the column width, meaningful, importing a csv applies a width matching the longest input, and / or the longest formula result in full precision, meaningful, so just different behvior in different situations ... not suitable for the OP, however if we change not suitable for one or the other half of users accustomed to actual. So just mention in some wiki, and always be aware that calc doesn't show the full precision of values used for calculating - up to 17 digits significance -, however instead something shrinked to 15 digits, in which step rounding effects, and in consequence deviations vs. decimal expectations may strike. And that rounding effects may progress "domino" over chains of 999... or 000..., and in consequence harm "more left" than they evolved, only the cases are reduced by factor 10 with each position. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
