I'm unable to explain why, but I'm not noticing any additional performance hit
Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 2c61782812b1b8b382dd48a04a712da9eaeb4685
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win

performance is similar to (sorry, no recent daily's available). The scroll
performance is even better as long as the page counter is counting, especially
at with page counter at 20-30; apparently it's still adding PostIt's)
Version: 26.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community

-----
Yes, there is massive performance between `git log --all
--grep=69c546e1e7a697217f273baa7c1729ff823efd76` and then check out the binary
commit, test and `git checkout HEAD~1`

However the additional performance lag disappeared again; at least for me
