How it looks in Form Navigator after opening the file
When an Excel file with form controls is opened in Calc, the Navigator does not
show these controls; only the Form Navigator.
When a new form control is inserted in Calc, the Navigator lists it.
This is because the form control in Excel has a name, which is loaded into the
Name property in the Properties dialog.
Calc on the other hand upon inserting a new control, auto-fills the Format ->
Name property, which is shown in the Navigator, making them more easy to use.
This field is empty for the Excel-made files.
1. Open attachment 202128 from bug 167764
2. Go to Tools - Forms - Form Navigator
-> It lists "Drop Down 1" and "Drop Down 2" - good
3. Rigth click on one of the controls, and go to Format - Name
-> It is empty.
4. Type something, press OK
-> What you have typed shows up in the Navigator under Drawing Objects.
Clicking on it highlights the object correctly.
