After the user has entered text, neither a click nor or double-click on an area outside the entered text brings the box in edit mode. LibreOffice is more flexible. It has the option ".uno:DoubleClickTextEdit" in the Options toolbar. If it is on, a single click selects the box and a double click goes into edit mode. This option is on as default. Is it really needed, that a single click on the box with placeholder text is interpreted as double-click?
