I have been running following version for about a week without issues until my
PC told me of the security/usability update on Tues (2025-06-11) at which time
it downloaded and installed the update.
After the reboot working on .doc or .docx files would crash Libreoffice. .doc
save/autosave would lock up the computer and eventually the process would die.
I used Task Manager to kill all the Libreoffice threads and restarted. After
the restart of the PC, the same issues would happen with .doc and .docx files.
This led me to think that perhaps the security update screwed up something. I
reinstalled 25.2.4.2 but continued to have problems with .doc and .docx files
and in particular .doc saves (GUI showed "export").
It was at this point that I researched how to revert the security update. I
uninstalled the security update and everything worked fine.
Yesterday evening, Windows reinstalled the update despite being paused. So the
crash has showed up again.

Today I can't see the security update to uninstall so I'm stuck with the
crashes.
