Bug ID: 166744
Summary: Object settings not saving or executing
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.8.4.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Charts and images are not keeping their settings after saving. In the case of
images, I would like the default to be keep inside text boundaries and do not
allow overlap. When manually set and saved this way the document will reopen
in the reverse. Notice Louis XIV image into the lower margin. Position
settings are also often lost or changed upon reopening.
With charts I set for do not split, but upon reopening the setting is lost. In
the larger document the setting is lost and the chart splits, but when
experimenting with the sample I found that the setting on these two charts
would be lost but the chart did not split.
The sample document has been saved with the desired settings as described.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Insert image or chart
2.Set chart for do not split and save, Image for keep inside text boundaries,
do not overlap.
3.Save and reopen
Actual Results:
Chart will often split, image will extend into margins. Settings lost.
Expected Results:
Keep settings. Image should stay out of margins and keep original position,
chart should not split across pages.
Reproducible: Sometimes
