            Bug ID: 166678
Summary: AutoCorrect wrongly replaces ‘ss’ with ‘ß’ in ‘German
                    (Switzerland)’ texts
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.2.3.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: Linguistic
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]

Description:
If the text language is set to ‘German (Switzerland)’, AutoCorrect incorrectly
replaces ‘ss’ in certain words with ‘ß’, even though the letter ‘ß’ does not
exist in Swiss Standard German. For example, ‘Grüsse’ is replaced with ‘Grüße’.
However, the spell checker recognises ‘Grüße’ as incorrect and underlines it in
red, suggesting the correct spelling ‘Grüsse’.
