            Bug ID: 166094
Summary: Feature Suggestion - Option to Keep the Start Center
                    Open
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.2.2.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I find the Start Center very useful and efficient to Revisit Recently Opened
LibreOffice Documents. Yes, it is possible to reopen them going through the
Files Menu, but there are extra steps and there is no visual, like the Grid
Thumbnail View in the Start Center. Not to change things up too much, I believe
it would be feasible to add a Setting in the Options Menu in Checkbox form.
Something that could resemble: "Keep the Start Center Open" or "Keep the Start
Center Open after Opening a Document."

I have found other user asking this question on "ask.libreoffice.org" which
seems to indicate this feature would be appreciated by other users as well.

Scenario User Case:
This would be an option that changes LibreOffice's behavior only if the user
deliberately and specifically launches LibreOffice's Start Center (the white
and gray icon). Whether the Start Center is launched first, before all other
programs, would not modify this behavior.

The "Keep the Start Center Open" Setting would be disabled by default.

Thank you for considering this Feature Suggestion.
