Description:
LibreOffice Impress currently requires two monitors to activate the Presenter
Console mode, which prevents users with a single-display setup from accessing
vital features such as speaker notes and separate presentation controls.
Notably, on Windows, Microsoft Office PowerPoint reliably offers a Presenter
Console even on single-monitor systems, whereas LibreOffice Impress does not.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open LibreOffice Impress on a single-display system.
2. Start the slideshow (e.g., by pressing F5).
3. Observe that the Presenter Console (with speaker notes and presentation
controls) does not activate.
Actual Results:
Only the full-screen presentation is displayed on a single monitor, with no
access to the Presenter Console.
Expected Results:
The software should provide an option to enable the Presenter Console on
single-display systems by simulating a secondary display (e.g., via a virtual
monitor or split-screen mode), allowing users to view speaker notes and
presentation controls alongside the full-screen slides.
