Bug ID: 165303
Summary: CLONE FORMATTING: Add possibility to change paint
bucket to normal cursor
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.8.4.2 release
Hardware: ARM
OS: macOS (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
In LibreOffice Calc it is very difficult to apply the formatting to individual
cells with the paint bucket. Typically, I format the wrong cells because the
cursor is not legible.
I would recommend adding an option, so that Calc does not show the paint bucket
and instead a normal pointer or a themed cursor.
The current behavior is pretty annoying. Especially on macOS.
I would appreciate it if you could consider this in a future update.
Thank you!
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Choose "Clone Formatting" via the Icon-Toolbar
2.Cursor changes into paint bucket
3.Try applying format to any cell
Actual Results:
Aiming with the paint bucket is really hard and most of the time you select the
wrong cell.
Expected Results:
Change into a normal pointer-cursor or the themed-cursor (white cross)
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
