I can't find any contact for who packages the AppImages, so I will file this
here (apologies in advance if I shouldn't).
I have run Appimages for years without any missing library problems, but one
has developed between 24.2.5.2 (which works fine) and 24.2.6.2 (which does not
load with an "error while loading shared libraries... cannot open shared object
file: No such file or directory" message). Note that 24.8.2.1 has the same
problem (won't run).
I don't know if someone added a Kerberos dependency between 24.2.5.2 and
24.2.6.2 (and the AppImage packagers didn't pick that up), or if the AppImage
packagers had previously included that library and suddenly decided to drop it
for some reason. In either case, I request that future AppImages include
libgssapi_krb5 if require, so that I can run LibreOffice.
