LibreOffice AppImages obtained via Menu > Download > 'LibreOffice as AppImage'
[https://www.libreoffice.org/download/appimage/] place the user profile in the
default location ~/.config/libreoffice/4/user/
This is contrary to the Note at page bottom which says "LibreOffice AppImages
uses their own user profile folder, so they won’t conflict with the user
profile of an installed version of LibreOffice on your system."
I've found that only the portable versions
[https://appimages.libreitalia.org/portable/] create their own user profile
folder e.g. ~/.config/libreoffice/24.2/user/
Could the Note should be updated/corrected to reflect this?
I believe Bug 133287 and subsequent changes by
https://github.com/antoniofaccioli/libreoffice-appimage/issues/18 (now closed)
may have introduced this discrepancy.
