Umm, why do security patches on top of cosmetics/reindentation anyway?
Because I need to read the code and I hate redoing and undoing the
formatting all the time.
Since they are security patches, they are supposed to get cherrypicked
into releases anyway, right? And then you'd have to do the same conflict
resolving as if you'd remove the cosmetics from your patchset anyway.
Since we are maintaining code from 3 years ago a good deal of patches
will require rebasing or full adaptation anyway.
Or, I really hope you aren't suggesting that we should cherrypick the
cosmetics to the release branches along with the security fixes?
Let me ask to who will do the backporting what he thinks about it.
Right now I have just 3 patches, 2 are fixes and one cleanses qdm2 that
apparently was left untouched since ages.
