LOL - I'm not trying to inflict pain on anybody else (I've got
enough myself!).  I estimate that building only pass 1 binutils and
gcc would take several hours on those machines, and the more
interesting question would be whether the whole of current LFS can
be built on such old machines : I suspect that disk _space_
(including for swap) might be a problem on those machines.
