This patch is unecessary in LFS, since we create a symlink at the end of
gcc-pass1, like so:
ln -vs libgcc.a `gcc -print-libgcc-file-name | \
sed 's/libgcc/&_eh/'`
He probably missed this command or didn't run it successfully (didn't
use backticks?)
