and that is where it should stop to be the base they intend.
everything else makes it a DISTRO standard. LFS isn't a distro in the
common meaning of the term, since it is not a collection of software
pre-built and ready to go. compliancy to the LSB is, and should be,
entirely up to the one building their system. Though including a link to
the LSB and FHS in the book for those who want to build a compliant
system is a good thing to do.

I only use the FHS section, since having everything laid out the same
helps anyone new to the host find their way around it.
