I tried this when collecting material for the "RPM: proof of concept" mail. It worked at least up to bash, as you can see from that message. The only thing that I had to change were procps instructions. Note: this requires a package manager that will set the correct permissions and ownership on the installed files. Just a plain "make install" may or may not work. -- Alexander E.
