Hi,
I'm trying to remove lens distortion for Canon PowerShot SX710HS with
CHDK's DNG. The original firmware does a pretty good job at it when saving
jpegs, and if I'll manage the same result with the DNG I'll be glad.
CHDK will save alongside each DNG the jpeg as the original firmware would
process it, and specifically lens corrected.
Can I use the DNG along with the lens corrected jpg to derive the lens
distortion coefficients (for specific focal length)? If so, what the best
way to do it? I thought maybe something like matching the to images in
hugin and somehow deriving the distortion.
