Hello!

I have some (my own) measurements-related ideas and thinking about profiling...
Several questions, please:

Does anybody know, how much off center the optical axis center typically
(sample-to-sample) is? Does this off-center issue cause a noticeable enough
(lines are curved by like 10 pixels) distortions (to justify custom profiling)?
Noticeable chromatics?

Can this shift be (reliably) determined from vignetting test shots?

Can we be certain that optical axis is really (again, resulting in like
noticeable curvatures of lines) perpendicular to the sensor?

Here: http://lensfun.sourceforge.net/manual/el_lens.html , I read: "The scale
is so that the smaller dimension (for very most cameras the height) has the
value 2". I'm sorry, I don't understand this. Are the values in pixels? If yes,
what does the "scale" mean then?

Sorry for many questions... :) (and sorry if it's been asked - couldn't find
the answers)
Thank you! New to this, comments much appreciated.
