I need some input on how to show an adoption date which is several years after the child's birth date.
I know that I can add an event to show the adoption date. I wish there was a place to enter a date by child's status in the Children's Settings window. I'm just wondering how others handle this information. Is there a better way? The child was born in 1988. The adoptive parents married in 1991 and the child was adopted in 1991. I don't believe that either one of the parents are biological. That's why I want to be sure the adoption date is part of the information. Thanks for any opinions on this.
