Due to some (minor) issues on both Windows and Linux, I was looking for a Docker image that would guarantee that the binary is correctly built and that the same thing runs on the two platforms that I use frequently. The image pointed to at GitHub repo and the Downloads page is a humongous >500MB file, which I find outrageous.
So I sat down and had some fun with Docker. The result, thanks to Roberto Oliveira, who built the binary package for Alpine Linux,is a microimage, or minimal binaly distribution that runs on Docker. The size is 23 MB and I consider it good enough.
