Ah, great, thank you! I guess even simpler would be to get the total
balance per security and use the @@ syntax?
I.e.
2019/04/17 Opening Balances
Assets:Investments:Broker:Shares:XYZ 50.0000 XYZ @@ 1000.00 USD
Equity:Opening Balances
I will look how to extract this (I'm just getting familiar with ledger so I
don't know pretty much *anything* about it) information.
Editing of the balance file can be done in Python then. Or, perhaps, with a
syntax adjustment, it is possible to get the final file in one command.
Also, with Python being available inline, I hope that would work on Windows.
