I don't think there's such a thing as "free shares". Surely the
shares have some value (let's assume 10.00 EUR for now), so I'd say:
2010/11/15 Employer
Assets:Invest:Broker 10 ABCXYZ @ 10.00 €
Income:Salary:FreeShares
In other words, your employer gave you 10 shares of ABCXYZ (valued at
10.00 EUR each) for "free". The "for free" means that it's a benefit,
so Income:Salary:FreeShares is -100 EUR.
