I didn't know there were separate project list or list servers for specific 
Directory servers.  I always used "umich.edu".

 

Is there a benefit to having a 1 main Directory server and a directory server 
for each platform?

 

example:  Sun to do the provisioning for all applications and platforms.  But 
you have Edirectory for Novell; ETrust for TopSecret/RACF...etc
