I would suggest investigating the particular message-ID that bounced, if you can find it, see if there are logs in the firewall regarding that email.
As I have said before, it seems to be an intermittent problem, possibly due to the firewall not being able to "phone home", or possibly it has some rule regarding emails whose date seems "old"? My experience has always been that once an email is delayed at all, it never gets accepted by the firewall.
