Microsoft published some information on the Flash Player they are going to ship with Windows 8: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ie/archive/2012/05/31/windows-release-preview-the-sixth-ie10-platform-preview.aspx
"While any site can play Flash content in IE10 on the Windows desktop, only sites that are on the Compatibility View (CV) list can play Flash content within Metro style IE. We place sites with Flash content on the CV list if doing so delivers the best user experience in Metro style IE with those sites. For example, how responsive is the content to touch? Does it work well with the onscreen keyboard, or affect battery life?" They have a lot more info in the blog post, but the relevant piece of information is that normal Flash websites will not run in Metroy style IE. That means, if you want to bring content to Windows tablet PCs with Windows 8, OpenLaszlo would have to support IE10 for DHTML, or there would have to be a custom "Metro" runtime for SWFx. - Raju
