If the automated translation is right then you want to sync your Samba password. For this go to tab Page layout and add the field Samba 3: Sync Samba NT password with Unix password. This will change the Samba 3 password on a normal password change.
For the password self reset feature there is an option "Sync Samba 3 password" on the tab Module settings.
