Hi Roland, thanks for your directions to the documentation on modification of the sudoers file.
I updated the sudoers file with the following line... fredo ALL=NOPASSWD: /home/fredo/gngberlin/lamdaemon.pl 'sudo -l' resulted in the following output (in part) User fredo may run the following commands on localhost: (root) NOPASSWD: /home/fredo/gngberlin/lamdaemon.pl And then I ran the Lamdaemon test... 'Lamdaemon server and path' checked out 'SSH connection' checked out but 'Execute Lamdaemon' failed with the following error: 'sudo: a terminal is required to read the password; either use the -S option to read from standard input or configure an askpass helper' Can you explain these solutions in somewhat more detail?
