do you use the "Filesystem quota (lamdaemon)" module?

I tried t,g,k and it worked for me (blocks). The units are sent to the 
underlying quota system. Maybe yours does not support them?
What error do you get?

There is a checkbox for each server under the home directory field. Is this not 
what you mean?
