Hello,

I have tried that as well with no luck:

If I turn on password reset manually, I can set the question via multi edit. However, until that is set I can not set the question with multi edit.

thanks,

Hi Brandon,

for multi edit you need to use the attribute names. This is:

   passwordSelfResetQuestion

for the question.

Instead of "passwordSelfReset_addExt" you need to add attribute

   objectClass

with value

   passwordSelfReset

This should work for you.

Best regards

Roland

Hello,

I am attempting to use the Multi Edit tool to set the values for
passwordSelfReset_addExt to true and
passwordSelfReset_passwordSelfResetQuestion to "What was your highschool
mascot?" However when I click "Apply Changes", I get an error message
stating
"LDAP error, server says: Undefined attribute type -
passwordselfreset_addext: AttributeDescription contains inappropriate
characters"

Has anyone seen this issue?

thanks,
