Dear Arachne friends

I know you are all very good at helping out fellow lacemakers and I have a problem to solve. My daughter is soon to marry an Australian, and I am working her a piece of lace from a pattern based on an Australian wildflower by Elwyn Kenn. My problem is that it was published in Lace Express 2/97 with a line drawing of the flower, but without the name of the flower. I have consulted two of her books without success. Can anyone help? I can send a scan of the lace and image of the flower if anyone thinks they can.

Also, can anyone give me a reference for the poem and instructions for turning a handkerchief into a baby's bonnet that I know was around some years ago?

Happy Easter lacing everyone

Rosemary Brown
