Hi all

Re Catherine's comment below - The Spriggs collection is in the care of the
All Hallows Museum Honiton - they have held the collection since 1994 when
it was collected from Rougemont House by Pat Perryman and Mrs Yallop.

Jane Page has included quite a few of the pieces in the 450 Years of Lace
book and CD compiled in conjunction with their exhibition in 2002. The
museum also rotates pieces from the collection in their displays. The
collection is on permanent loan to the Museum. There are some wonderful
pictures of pieces in the book - mostly needlelace and some bobbin.

"Thank you for the link Annette and I've taken a quick look this morning. I
don't recognise any of the items as having been part of the Spriggs
collection but as I said earlier, I believed Dr Spriggs collection to be on
permanent loan to the School and not belonging to Susan herself. When the
school closed his collection was then moved to Rougemont House Exeter but
I'm not sure if it's still there."
