I have a grill light just like that - but I think mine is a clamp style as well, so that it clamps to my grill (handy to have when grilling in the dark in winter, and the deck light needs supplementing). It's an LED lamp, and was actually very handy to have last year when we lost power for 21 hours one day, and I used it in the kitchen while heating water on the stove (love my gas stove :-) ).
If it's a clamp style, you might find it will clamp to the table you work on, and then hopefully the gooseneck is long enough to flex out over your pillow. Worth a try for $17. I presume it takes C batteries? It should last for plenty of hours of light if it's an LED lamp. Cheers, Helen, in Duvall, WA, where we've emerged from the penguins on icebergs weather - for now :-) - To unsubscribe send email to [email protected] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [email protected].
