I'm trying changing the subject line on this one, in case it triggers an
answer that will help Joseph. I think that I recall some people on this
list who make filet lace. Can anyone advise Joseph on what a suitable
thread would be for him to use to make filet lace?

The thread is used in a few old Filet Lacis books. I want to use it to
make netting and then embroider on it to make "filet lace". I just
bought a shuttle and gauge set, so now I need to find out what thread I
need to use.
