Like others, I'm guilty of lurking, so (fingers crossed that I don't
initiate any more flames) .........
A huge thank you to Jeri for her many, many, interesting contributions.
I might not always have read them, but I certainly appreciate them!! Am
I being too honest? But I am in awe of the knowledge that goes in to
them and the time and skill taken to write them.
And I definitely appreciated the link to the National Trust bulletin.
I've been a member of the National Trust for 20 years - and have not
seen this bulletin before! Not just me, DH didn't know about it either.
So thank you Jeri, for pointing us to it.
I'm mystified by some of the emails appearing in the Digest, we seem to
hear only half the discussion, and what we do see is very odd. Why would
anyone want to vilify another lace maker? We all make mistakes, but that
is no reason for personal attacks. Are we sure we haven't acquired a troll?
I hope I haven't said the wrong thing. I usually keep my head down when
there is any 'argumentation'. 'Least said soonest mended' as my Gran
used to say. It is all so sad and unnecessary, and we've lost so many
good people over the years because of a few bad words.
I understand that Jeri's departure is for technical reasons (aol vs
majordomo). As Elizabeth said, the digest version contains all Jeri's
emails, so, respectfully, could Jeri continue posting while others
switch to the digest version of arachne?
